David Cook Reception at Rimstone

A reception for Representative David Cook was held at Rimstone Ranch on September 22, 2026. Cook is the former mayor of Mansfield, current Texas State Rep District 96 and is running to fill the Texas Senate seat for our region. Tim and Lydia McKibben hosted the informal event so residents could hear directly from the candidate about his stance on issues, including data centers. After visiting the proposed data center/power plant site, Cook wrote a stern letter to TCEQ, about their failure to provide transparency on emissions data (they claim the data is trade secret!).
